Finally! A satisfying chess set.

Context: After somewhat recently getting interested (again) in chess, I looked around for a tournament-style rollable-board plus plastic pieces chess set. In my quest for a daily driver set, I purchased a few plastic sets with rexine/vinyl board, and found them unsatisfactory, either in heft or piece pattern or weight.

My criteria:
* The board should be sturdy, with good markings, rollable, look decent, and not stink!
* The pieces should be satisfyingly hefty, of the correct size and pattern, and (quite importantly) well-made (not cheap plastic where the molding seams are visible, etc).

My impressions:
* The board and the two-ring-with-handle it comes with meets my criteria; it was more than satisfactory. The printing on it is also of good quality, and the colour is deep and more saturated than the other sets I've purchased so far.
* The pieces are good! This is the first set of this kind I found *actually satisfactory* — in terms of the craftsmanship, the satisfying thicc heft of the pieces as I handle them, and the pattern and visual appeal. I now have no desire to buy another set of this type (unless it's as a backup!); I have found the one with which I'm content for the moment.
* The extra queens are a definite bonus.

Areas of possible improvement:
* If the logo of Gambol could have been printed on the back of the board instead of the front, that'd have made the experience of playing even better and more 'pure'; I like having nothing other than the game itself in front of me when playing (and very definitely no _marketing_; it's unnecessarily cheap and kinda pathetic, specially when the board and pieces themselves are this good).
* Giving customers the option of purchasing a bag for the pieces, or a kit bag for the board and pieces together.

Overall — if you're like me and wondering whether this set satisfying and *actually decent*, hesitate no longer — it absolutely is!
