The comfy, stylish Furoshiki ECO FREE is eco-conscious version our popular wrapping sole. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of wrapping, carrying and holding objects, the soft upper fabric wraps comfortably around the foot, and secures snugly for a quick, easy fit. Furoshiki ECO FREE features a durable, flexible Vibram Ecostep Natural outsole that is made with more than 90% natural ingredients. The unique sole coloration comes from 100% natural pigments. In addition, the upper material is made from 90% recycled materials, and features 4 way stretch for a perfect fit. The minimalist footbed is comprised of soft EVA for improved comfort, while the lining yarns include a high percentage of recycled polyester. Wherever you go, when you wrap your feet in Furoshiki ECO FREE, you will arrive in comfort.

Very comfortable

The rubber on the front has already come off though. The fit is true to size and comfortable but the rubber coming off at the front is mildly irritating.

Sizing and quality

The sole is very loosely attached to the front of the shoe . It has already started peeling off with very less amount of useage and Ive mostly used it in indoor areas. Doesn’t affect its performance as yet , but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a problem in the future. For something worth over 10K it should have much better quality. Also the sizing chart is off . I am a UK size 13 , according to the website that falls into side 47 but for a comfortable fit , I need to take size 48 . A good part about Gambol is they have good service and if the fitting is not good , they will immediately exchange for you . That’s why the 2 stars otherwise its definit a very cheap feeling product . I have however bought a Five finger which has a much better quality than Furoshikis . Will update the review there after extensive use.

How To Wear Furoshiki?

You simply slide your toes under this lip. Then place your heel down onto the footbed. Then wrap the sole around your foot to the opposite side heel. Starting with the inside, stick the velcros adjust the upper and you are ready to go :_

Take care of your Furoshikis

We recommand handwash with light ditergent.Soak Vibram FiveFingers® in bucket of water with denture cleaning. Use toothbrush for removing dirt. After washing air dry. Do not leave them outside. Some insect or animal may bite and damage.
